Privacy Policy

Effective date: 11 October 2026

DPA may collect information necessary to process orders, provide customer support, arrange delivery and improve the website and services.

This may include information such as:

  • Name
  • Phone number and WhatsApp number
  • Email address
  • Company name and GSTIN, if you provide them
  • Billing information
  • Shipping/delivery address
  • Order details
  • Payment status recorded by DPA
  • Website usage information, such as your IP address for security

DPA will use collected information only for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by law, including order processing, delivery, customer communication, support, website operations, security and service improvement.

DPA will take reasonable measures to protect customer information from unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure.

Information may be shared with relevant service providers, such as logistics partners and technology providers (and payment processors, if online payment is introduced), where necessary to fulfil an order or operate the website, and to authorities where required by law.

Order records on the website, and the WhatsApp messages and activity logs linked to them, are deleted about 1 year after an order is delivered, cancelled or closed. Quotations are deleted 180 days after they are issued. Records of price, product, customer and settings changes made by DPA staff are deleted after about 1 year. Your account details and saved addresses are kept while your account is active, until you delete it or it is deleted automatically (see below). DPA's separate accounting and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires.

You can delete your account from My account (“Delete my account”). This is not possible while you have open orders, and DPA may keep records it must keep by law. Accounts that have not been used for about 13 months are deleted automatically, after a prior warning sent to you.

DPA sends email only for password reset and email verification, and for promotional messages if you opt in. Order updates are sent on WhatsApp or by phone.

In line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask DPA to give you access to, correct or erase your personal data by contacting DPA or the Grievance Officer listed on our Contact Support page.

Cookies

DPA's website uses cookies and similar technologies to provide and maintain the website. Cookies are used for:

  • Essential website functionality
  • Maintaining user sessions (keeping you logged in)
  • Shopping cart functionality
  • Remembering preferences
  • Security and fraud prevention

The website currently does not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated.

Users may manage or disable cookies through their browser settings. However, disabling certain cookies may affect some website functionality.

By continuing to use the website, users acknowledge the use of cookies and similar technologies as described in this policy, subject to applicable law and any consent requirements.

Personalisation cookie (optional)

If you choose “Accept personalisation” in the banner, DPA sets one first-party cookie called dpa_visitor. It holds a random ID only. It does not hold your name, phone number or email.

DPA uses it to remember which products you view, which terms you search for and which products you add to your cart, so that a more relevant Featured list can be shown on the homepage. DPA may change how the Featured list is chosen at any time.

  • What is recorded: product views, search terms and add-to-cart actions.
  • How long: up to 90 days, after which records are deleted. The cookie lasts up to 90 days and is renewed each time you make a choice.
  • Who uses it: DPA, for the purpose above. DPA does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services for this. If this changes, this policy will be updated.
  • If you sign in: your random ID is linked to your account, and you are not asked again.
  • If you choose “No thanks”: DPA does not record these actions, and you can use the website either way. DPA will ask you again on your next visit (a new browser session), using a short-lived session cookie that is deleted when you close your browser.

If you accept and are signed in, DPA also uses your wishlist and your confirmed past orders to improve the Featured list. If you choose “No thanks” or switch personalisation off, they are not used for this.

You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer. Switching personalisation off deletes your recorded views, searches and cart actions.

If you delete your account, your personalisation records are deleted too.

DPA may update this section from time to time. The latest version on this page applies.
